Coming Soon to Our Community :

LGBTQ+ Support Groups

Many LGBTQ individuals experience negative mental health issues due to the prejudice and other biases they face. Research suggests that these individuals are at higher risk for depression, anxiety, and addiction or substance abuse. We understand there are limited LGBT+ resources in our community and will be adding support groups for both children and adults to our services.

Caregiver Support Groups

Silence in families and communities can isolate caregivers, making it difficult to express emotions, process the impact of disclosure, and seek necessary support to move forward. In our upcoming caregiver support groups, we will have the opportunity to address these issues to promote healing for both caregivers and their children.

National Children's Alliance Accreditation

The Caring House Child Advocacy Center is working towards becoming an accredited member of the NCA. The Agency is receiving VOCA assistance to enhance our ability to become federally accredited.
