Where Your Money Goes
THANK YOU TO OUR FUNDERS FOR ENSURING THERE IS NEVER A LAPSE IN SERVICES FOR SURVIVORS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND SEXUAL ASSAULT IN OUR COMMUNITY
THANKS TO GENEROUS DONATIONS, CARING HOUSE WAS ABLE TO ASSIST MANY SURVIVORS FROM OUR COMMUNITY IN 2017:
(Caring House tracks services using 1 Unit as equal to 15 minutes of time.)

9,822 INDIVIDUAL COUNSELING UNITS
229 GROUP COUNSELING UNITS
1,510 CRISIS CALLS
384 ADULT SURVIVORS OF DV

Caring House depends on cash donations and community volunteer hours to provide survivor support services and comply with grant applications. Victim of Crime Act (VOCA) requires Caring House to contribute a 20% match of VOCA grants we utilize. That can come from other non-federal funding or the value of donated items and volunteered time.
